For Sale - UPDATED: 2001 E46 M3 Racecar (GTS3/CM/ST4)

  






The car in the prior post has been completely fixed, painted and shook down.

Recently won overall in the HyperfestGT class which is based off ST4 rules turning 2:03s at VIR. 

The car was repaired by Bassen Auto Body with new rear quarter panels welded and painted. Rear frame rails pulled and straightened. Prior to shakedown, the car got a new 4L fire suppression system (04/2025), new Lifeline race harnesses (exp2029), seat back brace, Red Line RL700 brake fluid flush, Red Line Race50W oil, Red Line 75W110 diff fluid, Red Line D4 ATF transmission fluid.

The car runs at the limit for power to weight of 10:1 for GTS3 class (optionally 10.4:1 with 275 ToyoR in ST4) and has the following modifications: 

  • Full cage welded by RRT with bars to the rear bulkhead. 
  • Rear subframe reinforced 
  • Vanos rebuilt with all new components 2020 (car was not run between 2020-2024 so very little use)
  • Rod Bearings 2019 (car was not run between 2020-2024 so very little use)
  • S54 engine with headers, stock intake and Bimmerworld race exhaust
  • MCS Remote 3-way suspension 
  • Bimmerworld Roll Center Correction Kit 
  • Ground Control Bump Correction Kit
  • Adjustable rear camber arms
  • BimmerWorld/JBRacing Race Clutch and LTW flywheel
  • Diffsonline race diff 
  • PFC Z45 Front BBK/Rear ZCP calipers
  • Upgraded Hotchkis swaybars 
  • Aeromotions rear wing (undamaged)
  • Carbon Fiber front fenders (Driver side was fixed and replaced with stock)

  • Bimmerworld splitter with uprights (slight damage but usable)

  • Fluids (Oil, Transmission, Rear Diff and Brake) all updated 05/2025 and has one race on them.
  • 06/2025: New throwout bearing, clutch disc replaced. 
  • 06/2025: MCS 3-ways rebuilt by MCS
